What’s In My Ipsy Glam Bag? (February)

My Ipsy Glam Bag arrived!!! You guys, I have been waiting and waiting for this bag, and I was so excited to see that it had arrived in the mail. All pretty with its hot pink shiny packaging. Believe me, there is nothing better than looking in your mailbox and seeing something shiny.

Ipsy is a great beauty subscription box (only $10 a month) that brings you new full size products each month, depending on your preferences in color and the type of product. Every month you get a new bag with a new set of beauty products to try out and review, earning you points and gaining discounts for future items. One cool thing about Ipsy beauty bags are that I may not receive the same products that you receive in a given month. Each bag is tailored to the kind of products you request and regularly use.

The Bag

This little blush colored makeup bag with black lace is so cute! Everything fits in it so nicely, and reminds me of something I might find at Victoria’s Secret (with the color scheme).

BIOBELLE, Perfecting Primer Facial Mask

This sheet mask is an awesome primer before applying your makeup. It “boosts facial texture, minimizes pores and evens skin tone while prepping the skin for a flawless makeup application”. I just like that it smells so nice. It has tea tree oil and rosehip extract which smells so fresh and clean!

PACIFICA, Beach Crystals

This is a very subtle palette, yet the colors are very shimmery and pretty. I love that the colors are a combination of gold and purple, since those are the colors I wear the most as eyeshadows. I actually really enjoy the subtlety as some palettes can get a little crazy with their colors.

OFRA COSMETICS, Liquid Lipstick in ipsy Unzipped

Oh. My. Goodness. I absolutely am in love with this lipstick. It’s so nice and creamy (not sticky at ALL, which had been my original presumption with liquid lipsticks) and the color is SO BEAUTIFUL. I love that this color suits me so well, especially with the green and blue hair. This was easily my favorite thing in the bag.

MELLOW COSMETICS, Precision Liquid Pen Eyeliner in Black

Oooooooh this liner! I’ve been practicing my wings lately, and this liquid pen liner is fantastic! Doesn’t pool or smudge easily, and super easy to help create those gorgeous thick lines. Probably my second favorite in this bag.

LUXIE BEAUTY, Blending and Shading Eye Brush #249

First of all, I love that this is a two sided blending brush. I love being able to put one brush in my makeup bag to get the look that I want. The ends are super fluffy and blend out the colors really well. I tried this brush out on other eye shadow palettes I own as well as the Pacifica beach crystals palette. Honestly, I liked the result better on other eye shadows, specifically loose powders.

This bag has a value of about $61. For only paying $10 for the subscription, I think I definitely got more than what I paid for! I love that if I had seen these products in the store, I might not have purchased them, but now that I’ve tried them, I love them! So looking forward to my next March bag!
