So I have a confession to make…I found this dress at Goodwill, not at Hot Topic. I’m a sucker for Goodwill since I find such great stuff, and when I found this dress (THAT HAS POCKETS!!!) I couldn’t resist. You can either scour the isles of Goodwill or just go get the dress from Hot Topic itself.

Sometimes when I’m having a bad day, I dress up. It makes me happy to put on something pretty and take photos. It helps me breathe and reminds me that even when I’m sick and playing ‘The Witness’ on the couch all day, I can still feel pretty. I’ve had a pretty tough couple of weeks, and feel like the cold that’s been attacking my face and lungs will never go away. Work is getting more stressful (duh, it’s camp…) and I’m trying to focus on enjoying the little things. Little things like curling my hair and laying out on a blanket surrounded by dandelions.

I’m also really enjoying the hair fade, and the green is turning a bit yellow which I still love. It makes me feel like a summer fairy. My freckles are also FINALLY starting to pop out after hiding from winter for so long. I gotta say, my freckles are my favorite part of my face and I only wish they were more prominent!

Anyways, I hope you all are enjoying the new summer season, and see you all soon!

  1. I seriously love your blog.. Great colors & theme. Did you make this site yourself? Please reply back as I’m trying to create my own personal site and would like to learn where you got this from or exactly what the theme is called. Kudos!
