Reflections on Project 333

It’s been a month now, which was my original goal, and that has given me a chance to decide if Project 333 or capsule wardrobes are something I want to continue or not. If you didn’t already know, last month I chose 33 items out of my closet, and participated in the Project 333 challenge. I had to live with just those 33 items for a month. Check out more in my original post here. At the start of this project I was really optimistic about my newfound clothing choices. But now my month is up, and I’m ready to go back to my normal sized closet.

In Response…”Where Is Home?”

Many of you may know that I grew up in Sarajevo, Bosnia, halfway across the world from where I live now, and that my parents still travel the world as missionaries. Recently, my mom posted their newest newsletter, a post to keep family, friends, and supporters updated with their newest transition back to Sarajevo. In her newsletter, my mom asked a question: “Where IS home?”

Project 333

I’ve always had a problem with clothes. Over-stuffed closets and too much laundry. I love clothes and fun outfits, but I’m not very good at keeping everything organized. I already circulate my closet every six months between Spring and Autumn. Even with cycling clothes in and out of my closet I still end up with too much stuff. Yet I still feel overwhelmed when choosing something to wear, and suck at keeping my floor free of dirty laundry.

A New Cosplay Mashup!

Hey guys! So I’m super crazy excited to announce that I’m working on a little cosplay mashup! If you were paying attention around Halloween, you may have noticed that I did a little genderbend cosplay as Hades from Disney’s “Hercules”. I cannot believe how well it turned out, or the amount of compliments I got on the look. It made me quickly realize how much I loved cosplay and that I wanted to do it more often, not just for Halloween.
