Sarajevo: A Photographer’s Dream

As many of you may already know, I grew up in Sarajevo, Bosnia, a tiny country in Europe, just off the Mediterranean Sea. My family and I moved there when I was 5 and I lived there until I graduated high school at 18. I’ve been to a lot of places in my lifetime, Paris, Rome, Budapest, Cedarville, MI….but in all of those experiences, in all of those different cultures and architecture and people, Bosnia is still my favorite. Hiraeth

Sometimes I find myself so incredibly alone. Alone and tired. I miss…something. I want to go back but, like a fading dream, it slips away from me before I can remember. Sometimes I think I know what it is and where I last left it, but I’m afraid that if I go back it won’t be the way I remembered it. It’ll be different. The Reinhard Chronicles: 2,396 Miles

Nothing says roadtrip quite like U-hauls packed to the hilt, 2,3396 mile drives, and a lot of fast food. The month of September was pretty crazy for Chesh and I.
